Your vision helps you define a destination – the best user experience you are looking for. You can plan your route to the destination by focusing on exactly what to build. By setting the goal, you can adjust the design direction of your product. The design strategy is largely presented at the beginning of two phases: Survey and Review. In the Envisión phase, we are really starting to visualize the product we are making here and we are starting to test and work with technical teams. Armed with useful ideas from your target audience, you can start modifying your product based on the comments.
Our UX designers often meet and share the experience and knowledge gained with various UX projects that we do for our customers. This helps us to effectively improve our design processes to meet the requirements and requirements of the market. This is not only useful for the continuous development of a UX professional, but also helps design a product that product concept design best meets a customer’s business needs. Take advantage of your commitment to the product design process to create different conceptual iterations on your part. It is infinitely more profitable at this stage to explore options than when it goes into production, which may require additional tools, machine downtime and other unprofitable activities.
Even if there is no in-depth competitive research, we should at least keep a list of competitors in a collaboration spreadsheet or cloud-based tool. We use this method more often in the discovery phase of the product design process. Starting with ten to fifteen interviews offers enough understanding to continue. We try to recruit interviewees from any target segment or group we have defined above. Our researchers evaluate the above results for each interview and repeat the questions to get the most useful answers from the remaining interviews. If necessary and our cooperation has the means, we will conduct follow-up interviews to delve into the sub-topics.
Design sprints are a process to quickly create the future status of a product, be it a website or an application, and validate it with a group of users, stakeholders, developers and other designers. Based on the results of product research, UX designers can identify key user groups and create representative characters. Humans are fictional characters created to represent the different types of users that a product could use in a similar way. The goal of people is to create reliable and realistic representations of important target group segments for reference. Once created, people help product teams understand user goals in specific contexts, which is especially useful during ideation.
This is a very short and basic description of the product design process. As you will see later, my advice on how to become a better product designer covers the steps described above. Product managers develop product vision, understand user needs and come up with product features to meet those needs. The product designer, on the other hand, sympathizes with the user and creates a product experience to solve user problems. User scenarios and JTBD help validate product ideas and allow you to test whether you are heading in the right direction, which is key to both product management and product design teams.
